About the Event
Portrait of a Lady on Fire (15)
Dir. Celine Sciamma | France | 2022 | 122 mins | IMDb 8.1 | Subtitled
A sumptuous, beautiful and profoundly moving film. Each frame could exist independently as a work of art. It explores the developing relationship between the artist and her subject in 18th century France and contemporary themes and isues of love, loss and female identity. The cinematography enhances and reflects the stunning performances and on-screen chemistry of the two female leads. An unforgettable film!
